People want their organizations and communities to be places where everyone, regardless of background, can succeed, but they often struggle to turn that dream into reality. Dr. Brianna Davis Johnson, a diversity, equity, and inclusion leader and scholar, uses her research and personal journey to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership, a powerful strategy that can help organizations and communities of all kinds reach their full potential. Dr. Brianna Davis Johnson is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leader, speaker, and facilitator committed to making organizations and communities places where everyone can succeed. She leads DEI efforts at colleges and universities of varying sizes and types, nonprofits, and local communities. As a scholar, her research examines how DEI initiatives are advanced at universities and how organizational policies and practices can hinder them, and she has published on a variety of DEI topics in higher education. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS from Northwestern University, and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
