I hate being pitched to me as much as you do, but if you're curious about how I help L&D pros, curriculum designers, and eLearning developers beyond these videos, check out the link below for the details. No opt-ins, no upsells – just clarity to help you get to the next level. Check it out: https://www.elearningsecrets.com/es-discovery-call

Processes make you more efficient. And too many learning experience designers are confused about what to do because they don't have systems or processes in place.

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:

In this short video I explain a simple three-step process for designing scenarios.

Here is an overview:

First, you start with some focus questions, choose a framework, and gather relevant input from an internal expert. (In short, step one is about clearing your head and getting your creativity on the right frequency.)

The second step of scenario design involves creating a detailed outline, an interactive outline (decision moments, branching, etc.), and then finally a script of the experience.

The third step can be quite simple. Here you focus on visual communication and appearance. I say this is quite simple because a) more and more talented graphic designers are entering the learning design field and b) current software solutions are incorporating design elements into their solutions.

Check out the video and let me know what you think in the comments section below.

WHAT WE COVER:

1. Why it is important to see the forest for the trees

2. No need for a needs analysis (which in my opinion is mostly verbal hobby nonsense)

3. To make real progress, you need to focus on yourself (so don't miss this step).

4. How to see the light at the end of the tunnel and not get lost in darkness and confusion

5. Tips for choosing the best person to be your subject matter expert (hint: it's not you.)

6. Why your SME interview is “Lead Domino” for you

7. What you should steal from the comic and film industry

8. Why you may not need to worry about graphic design

To your success!
