Grand Theft Auto is a truly massive game, and between GTA 5 and Rockstar's constant updates to GTA Online, there's no shortage of new content and interesting things to do.

Then join me as we go through a comprehensive guide on how to make money even if you don’t have access to the BAWSAQ exchange.

Before we get started, if you're new to the channel, we have tutorials, news, and giveaways, so consider subscribing and ringing the bell to stay updated.

Oh, and for the purposes of this guide, I'm assuming you'll mostly be following the natural progression of the game; that is, following the storyline of the character the game assigns to you at the end of a mission.

…and I should also note that this also replaces our previous guide.

So first things first: This guide applies if you're working your way through the main questline in GTA 5's Story Mode and haven't yet completed the Lester assassinations with Franklin (the Jay Norris assassination performed by Michael doesn't count).

If you've already used Franklin to complete all of Lester's assassination missions, you've missed out on a ton of game-winning cash – but with this guide (thumbs up for other investors' guide), there's a link to it in the description below.

So for this guide, I'm assuming you've never used the stock market in the game before and that this is one of your first playthroughs.

…and I don't want to belabor the point, but for clarity, don't do the Lester assassination missions without your starting capital and investments in place. That means don't visit the L on the map with Franklin when it becomes available.

I can't stress this enough.

Also, don't buy anything from the company yet. Also stay away from vehicle modifications, clothing, and tattoos.
